Your script deserves to sound like a real conversation.
Let's be honest: you’ve spent hours writing and perfecting your message. The absolute last thing you need is some stiff, "voice-of-God" announcer reading it like a robot and putting your audience to sleep.
I provide a Neutral British voice that is as warm, clear, and reliable as your favourite cup of tea. But this doesn't happen in a vacuum. For me, the best part of this job is the collaborative experience of getting there together. I don't just want to read words off a page; I want to work with you to find the exact right tone, energy, and rhythm for your brand.
Here is exactly how I make your job easier across different formats:
-
Corporate & Explainers: We’ve all sat through those notoriously dry internal training videos—the ones that feel a bit like a hostage situation. My aim is change that and act as your personal translator, turning dense corporate jargon into an actual, engaging human conversation. Less “leveraging synergistic deliverables,” and more “here’s what this is, and why it matters.” Let's make sure your audience is actually absorbing the information, rather than just daydreaming about lunch.
-
Commercials: Modern audiences instantly tune out the traditional "shouty" announcer. Whether you need an intimate, reassuring soft sell or a confident, upbeat promo, I deliver the authenticity needed to make your customers trust your brand—without sounding like I'm aggressively selling them a mattress.
-
Characters & Creative Campaigns: Need to bring a specific persona to life? From the street-smart local to the trusted expert, I bring genuine character work to the mic. I also offer a heavy sprinkle of London Cockney/Estuary grit to give your characters that cheeky, unapologetic edge. Think less Shakespeare, more bloke you'd actually have a pint with.
Trusted by brands like the Royal Deaf Association, Athl33t, and Helios, my voice comfortably spans from an energetic young adult to a trusted senior.
I record from a fully acoustically treated home studio in Suffolk, which means you get broadcast-ready audio and incredibly fast turnaround times to keep your production schedule on track.
Let’s take the stress out of your next project. Send over your script, and let's make some noise! :-)

About Me...
I didn’t go to a fancy drama school. But my living room was basically the West End.
I didn't take the traditional route into voiceover. You won't find a prestigious theatre company on my CV, and I’ve never paid ten grand to walk around an empty room pretending to be a sad tree.
Instead, my acting education was completely observational. My parents met through the local amateur dramatics club, and with my brother acting in various shows and films, I always had a front-row seat to the industry.
Our house was constantly doubling as a rehearsal space or hosting creative writing groups. I did the occasional bout of acting, but I watched it all from afar, absorbing the nuances of how to bring words and characters to life. It was a masterclass in performance in many ways.
From the living room to the real world.
When it came time for a career, I didn't head for the stage. I went into working directly with safeguarding children and young people.
Let me tell you, if you want to learn about human psychology and performance, forget the textbooks. Try negotiating with a highly emotional teenager who has just decided the rules of society no longer apply to them. It’s a high-pressure gig, but it is the greatest training ground in the world for understanding human emotion.
What keeping the peace taught me about the mic.
In safeguarding, you realise very quickly that it’s almost never about the words you use—it’s about the tone.
You have to be a safe space. You have to project calm, reliable authority even when everything around you is going a bit pear-shaped. You learn how to de-escalate, how to empathise, and how to make people trust you the absolute second you open your mouth.
Turns out, figuring out how to get a frustrated kid to trust you is brilliant practice for getting an audience to trust a brand.
Real life makes for a real read.
Today, I bring that grounded, slightly battle-tested empathy into the booth. I don't do fake, booming "announcer" voices—mostly because my family would never let me live it down.
Whether you need a comforting, empathetic read for a charity campaign, a reliable voice to decode a painfully dry corporate explainer, or just a bit of cheeky character work for a commercial, I bring my actual, chaotic life experience to the mic.
No ego. No robotic reads. Just a bloke who knows how to read the room, ready to tell your story.
